For 7 years we developed web tech for facilitating tendering and specifications for conservation-related diagnoses and execution procedures, focused on preserving historical monuments in Germany and worldwide. The software, deployed as a cloud-based solution, supported the documentation and evaluation of cultural heritage in accordance with heritage conservation regulations and successfully served over 5.000 objects in different heritage sites and gained recognition at the CIDOC 2014 conference.
The design of this tool was a collaborative development with a german partner and the web development and 3D integrations were developed by Leapfrog.cl. We incorporate expert knowledge in every design progress and we apply our tools in different case studies to inform design and development. In this process we help our clients to handle large amount of data in an efficient way, we help our clients in their digital transformation from legacy systems to collaborative online environments.
This system supported online condition survey and reporting of built cultural heritage and online condition recording for movable heritage in accordance with EU standard DIN EN 16096:2012 and DIN EN 16095:2012. The tool provided online accessibility of information for different stakeholders in the conservation process and incorporated GIS and 3D provider. Information could be exported directly to XML, CSV and PDF for digital sharing or further processing, web services provided integration with existing systems.
