"Designers at Salesforce.com have built an infographic monitoring social media conversations relating to the London mayoral elections. The visualisation shows the number of messages mentioning each candidate over 30 days and 24 hours. Data is provided by Radian 6. At the time of writing, Boris Johnson leads with 57% of conversations over the last day, while Ken Livingstone has 39%. Brian Paddick, Jenny Jones and Siobhan Benita take around 1% each. Also shown is a breakdown of the topics featuring most heavily in social media dialogue. General political discourse dominates, while the Olympics rank third and the least talked-about categories are housing and education."
